Rossen Sedev
Curtin University, Australia
Rossen Sedev is a physical chemist with an overarching interest in interfaces, including wetting dynamics, electrowetting and superhydrophobicity, interfacial and electrochemical behaviour of ionic liquids, and microfluidics. His work involves wettability, adhesion and surfaces forces but also targets specific systems, e.g. surfactant layers, thin films, foams and particles.
Currently based at Curtin University, Western Australia, he is exploring the behaviour of gas-expanded liquids and supercritical fluid extraction. He has supervised 20 PhD graduates and co-authored over 110 papers with 3,200 citations. He is an Editor of Advances in Colloid & Interface Science (Elsevier) and a member of many professional associations.
