Pedro Tartaj graduated in Physical Chemistry from the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid where he also obtained his PhD in Materials Chemistry. He has developed his scientific career in three different countries (Spain, US and UK) mainly working in all aspects related to colloids. He holds a permanent position at the Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid (CSIC, Spain). His current research interest lies in nanostructured materials for energy and environmental related applications.
