Jianling Zhang

Jianling Zhang obtained her Ph.D. degree at the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), in 2003. She has been a Professor at the Institute of Chemistry, CAS, since 2012. Her research interests cover the properties and applications of green solvent systems, e.g. constructing novel assemblies of amphiphilic molecules (or particles) in green solvents and utilizing them in material synthesis and chemical reaction.

Zhang has published more than 180 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals, such as Nature Communications, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Journal of the American Chemical Society and Accounts of Chemical Research. She has been granted the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund, National Award for Natural Science, Beijing Municipal Award for Science and Technology and LU JIAXI Young Talent Award. Zhang is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, Associate Editor of RSC Advances and serves for some professional societies.
