Talk title: Thermoresponsive ionic liquid/water mixtures for separation and purification technologies

Prof. Dr. Hiroyuki Ohno is known as one of the leading scientists on ionic liquids. He is working on ionic liquids for more than 20 years. He received his Ph. D. degree from Waseda University (Japan) in 1981.

He was invited to Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology as an associate professor in 1988. In 1997, he was promoted to be a full professor.  He was elected as a vice dean in 2007, dean in 2013, and named as the president of our university since April 2017. He has published more than 470 original papers as well as 190 reviews, book chapters, and notes.
