Chris Bradley is currently detailed as a Science & Energy Program Manager in the Office of the Under Secretary for Science & Innovation at the U.S. Department of Energy, which oversees cross-cutting initiatives for DOE’s science and technology programs.

His main role involves coordination and launch of the Department’s seventh Energy EarthshotTM, in sustainable fuels and chemicals/products. Chris’ home office is Basic Energy Sciences (BES) within the Office of Science, where he has co-led the Catalysis Science for the past seven years. His major activities while in BES have included leading workshop and roundtable reports on DOE catalysis focused efforts, organizing an NAS Chemical Sciences Roundtable Workshop in modern challenges for the field, and serving within intra- and intergovernmental agency working groups on plastics and chemical sustainability. Chris’ background and training are in organometallic synthesis and homogeneous catalysis.
