Meta-analysis, “Effect of Corticosteroids on Mortality and Clinical Cure in Community-Acquired Pneumonia(opens in new tab/window),” demonstrates that patients who received corticosteroids were found to have a lower incidence of progressive respiratory failure requiring mechanical ventilation but no difference in mortality or treatment failure. View the visual abstract for this research.(opens in new tab/window)
